Shanley Pump and Equipment has for over two decades brought our customers the best in pumping technology from around the world. This formula has helped Shanley Pump become recognized as a leader in the North American Pumping Market.
We realize that there were unresolved issues in the pumping industry for affordable pumps for difficult pumping applications such as thermal fluids and corrosive fluids. Seeing this opportunity, Shanley Pump and Equipment, Inc. have created Iron Duke Process Pumps.
Iron Duke Process Pump lines incorporate all the best features from other leading OEM manufacturers without the OEM price bringing you the best of both worlds, performance and affordability!
We currently supply two Iron Duke Models, the Centurion Series of Centrifugal Thermal Transfer Pumps and The Citadel Series of PVDF Lined Centrifugal Chemical Process Pumps.
The Iron Duke Citadel Series of Centrifuigal Chemical Process Pumps are designed to be a highly specialized and economical centrifugal pumping soultion for caustic and corrosive chemicals that would attack standard centrifugal pumps.
The Citadel Series operates up to 1,150 GPM and is designed with a thick-walled, vacuum-proof, single piece PVDF (Polyvinylidene fluoride) volute casing liner which has high resistance to most chemicals and solvents, held secureley within a cast Iron Armored shell. This armored shell surrounding the pump is for protection from the elements and harsh working environments.
The Iron Duke Centurion Series of 22 different centrifugal thermal fluid transfer pumps represent a highly accomplished, low-costing self-cooling centrifugal pump with a wide flow-range for viscous thermal transfer fluids such oils, hydraulic fluids and and other thermoconductive pumping media.
The Centurion Series volute casing and other areas of fluid contact come standard in heavy duty ductile iron. Carbon or stainless steel volute casings are available depending upon your requirements. The bearing housing is of cast iron and the internal shaft and impeller are of high grade 316 and 420 stainless steel for durability and corrosion resistance.

The Iron Duke Pumps Narrative
Never a company to rest on its laurels, Shanley Pump embarked in 2010 to respond to a slowing economy where customers wanted a high quality pump that could perform comparably with the name brand models but at an nominal price. In many instances, companies would purchase less-than-ideal pumping solutions at a higher cost simply because no other solutions were available within their budget. It was with this moment that Iron Duke Pumps was established.
The charter for Iron Duke Pumps is to find the best available results in affordably priced centrifugal pumps for difficult pumping applications manufactured today. Difficult process equipment pumping applications such as Thermal Fluids and Heat Transfer or Acids and corrosives pumping and transfer.
Iron Duke Pumps represent the cutting edge of high-quality competitively priced pumps for pumping situations up to 1,700 GPM.
